Kundli matching, also known as kundli milan or horoscope matching for marriage, is a traditional Vedic astrology practice used by Hindu families before finalizing a marriage. The process compares the birth charts (kundlis) of both individuals using the Ashtakoot system, which evaluates compatibility across 36 gunas (qualities). A score of 18 or above out of 36 is generally considered favorable.
